Memories of My Melancholy Whores by Gabriel Garcia Marquez

This one is a quick read. I love Gabriel Garcia Marquez. His writing is magical and beautiful. Even when it's translated from Spanish. It's like walking into a fantasy mixed with history and culture.

Book Synopsis:
An old man finds love at the end of his life, when he only waits for death. It is a story of a relationship of love and sex between an aging journalist and a working-class child, who sells her virginity to help her family. It talks about memories and solidarity, but also about the happiness of childhood and the discovery of first love.
